Mainstreet HQ, Downers Grove - Mainstreet and several other nationally recognized real estate associations collaborated with the Polish Real Estate Federation (PREF) via online seminar to examine what has been happening in Poland’s and U.S commercial and residential markets.
In case you missed it, Mainstreet Organization of REALTORS®, Austin Board of REALTORS®(ABoR), MetroTEX Association of REALTORS®, Staten Island Board of REALTORS®, Gateway Association of REALTORS® (HGAR), San Francisco Association of REALTORS® (SFAR), Greater Metropolitan Association of REALTORS® and the NAR Global team hosted a collaborative webinar with the Polish Real Estate Federation (PREF) on August 10.
Featured speakers included the current President of PREF Renata Piechutko and former Vice President Janusz Gutowski who closely examined the current Polish real estate markets. Specifically, the trends being seen in the Polish market, office space market, the decline in retail trade, the rise of data center construction and the increase in new investors in Poland’s private rented sector (PRS).
NAR Global staff members followed the esteemed members from PREF including Alex Escudaro, Director of Global Strategy and Engagement. Alex spent time speaking about the global initiatives currently active at NAR. His staff accompanied Alex to the meet up, comprised of Holly Becker, Stephanie Akers, Global Coordinator of Eastern Europe, Alina Aeby, and Global Ambassador to Ukraine, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland, Dmitry Selektor.
Moderator Danuta Hansen also introduced Mainstreet Board Member Kinga Kopacz. She briefed viewers about the U.S. marketplace for the PREF members in attendance before making a special introduction of her own.
The Consul General of Poland in Chicago Michal Arciszewski spoke with attendees about his involvement within Polish communities here in the U.S.
Last to present was Frank Spula, President of the Polish National Alliance and Polish American Congress. He also was able to spend time answering questions and providing answers for those in attendance.
