This year, Mainstreet doubled down on our commitment to furthering members’ real estate careers. Early in the summer, we added a powerful new member benefit: MainstreetHomeSearch.com.
This site, powered by Proxio, provides a searchable database of all Mainstreet member listings. Consumers can easily filter homes by location, price, number of bedrooms and bathrooms and more, and then view details and photos from the MLS. When they find homes they like, they can send a message directly to the listing agent.
Radio and Google Ads Drive Local Homebuyers
From July through September, Mainstreet ran an ad campaign promoting these listings to homebuyers in Northern Illinois. A radio campaign on iHeartRadio and WKQX created up to 3,709,400 impressions, reaching a wide range of listeners across Mainstreet’s territory.
During the same period, Mainstreet served Google Ads to local homebuyers. These were targeted to appear to people in Northern Illinois just at the moment when they were seeking home listings. For example, they appeared in results for search terms including:
-
“home search Illinois”
-
“homes for sale near me now”
-
“townhomes for sale near me”
Ads for MainstreetHomeSearch.com also appeared in searches targeted to specific suburbs where Mainstreet members are active, such as:
-
“Waukegan homes for sale”
-
“houses for sale Orland Park”
-
”condos for sale Downers Grove IL”
Similar search terms were enabled for all suburbs in Mainstreet’s territory. Over the course of the three month campaign, these ads resulted in more than 40,000 clicks to MainstreetHomeSearch.com.
You Can Promote Consumer Engagement
While the summer’s ad campaign is over, you can use Mainstreet’s other new member benefit, Photofy, to promote MainstreetHomeSearch.com and the value of working with a REALTOR®️.
If you haven’t downloaded Photofy already, it’s simple. Just download the app, register, and start personalizing NAR and Mainstreet content to share on social media. Read these instructions to get started.
You can also promote MainstreetHomeSearch.com to your networks and current clients — it’s a great resource for buyer clients to use to find homes they’d like you to show them, and even to further conversations about the types of homes and features they are looking for.
